Detailed of 10 Days Gorilla Trekking Safari

Day 1. Arrival and transfer to kibale national park

Our company representative will pick you from Entebbe international airport-Uganda and transfer you to kibale national park. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 2. Chimpanzee tracking experience

Have morning break fast and  transfer to  Kibale National Park headquarters for briefing. The park is known to harbor the largest number of primates in Uganda. Therefore the guided forest walk will not only reward you with Uganda chimpanzees but also with other primates like the grey cheeked Mangabeys, black and Red tailed colobus monkeys, baboons, phoestes, and others. The guide will ensure that the walk is interesting by providing information not only on primates but also on other organism flora inclusive.  In the afternoon you will go for another guided nature walk to the Bigodi swamp where you will see plenty of rare fauna and flora. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 3.Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park for game drive and boat cruise along kazinga channel.

After your morning breakfast, you will be transferred to queen Elizabeth national park, you will enter the park by midday and check in your lodge for lunch, after lunch go for boat cruise along kazinga channel, where lake Edward meets lake George. The rich wildlife along this channel characterized with high concentration of hippos and birds which makes it, the best birding spot in Africa is worth mentioning, you will also do evening game driver where you will be able to see different species of animals. Dinner and overnight at Enganzi safari lodge.

Day 4. Morning game drive with tree climbing lions and transfer to bwindi impenetrable national park.

Transfer through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park on the way to Bwindi, this area is known for its tree-climbing lions. In Ishasha we will drive off in this adventurous vast Savannah area with topis and the southern version of Elephants to hopefully get the Lions high in the fig tree branches. Continue the transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable NP. Here you will experience a change in the landscape from flat savanna, via cultivated hills to jungle covered mountains.

Day 5. Gorilla tracking experience

on the 5th day of 10 Days Gorilla Trekking Safari, After breakfast at the lodge, you will go to the park headquarters for briefing from the Uganda wildlife Authority ranger guides. After the  briefing, the ranger will lead you into the thick impenetrable forest to start your search for the endangered rare species of Mountain Gorillas.  The gorilla search always continues from the place where they were last seen the previous day. Upon reaching the area where these famous species are, you will only be allowed to interact with them for only one hour and  you should always keep maximum silence while with these Gorillas. You are  allowed to take photographs and so one. To find the Gorillas, it’s such tiresome experience since it can take you almost 3-8 hours to find them.

However, once you meet these gorillas, you will easily forget the hatches you have gone through to find them and instead save the good memories experience with them. After the interaction, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6:Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

In the morning have breakfast and then go visit the communities and then later transfer to Lake Bunyonyi the deepest lake in Africa also referred to as “Little Switzerland of Uganda” and it is one of the most beautiful place in Uganda. With stunning sceneries and amazing creatures, visit some of historical islands like punishment islands, this was called so because of the activities that were carried out there, for example girls who would get pregnant before marriage were taken there and starve to death. Dinner and overnight at Arcadia cottages / Bunyonyi Overland Cottages.

Day:7. Transfer to lake Mburo National park.

Have morning break fast and transfer to lake Mburo National park. Enter the park with game drive, expect to see lots of animals including zebras, Uganda cob giraffes and many more. after lunch proceed for boat ride and in the evening you will go for nature guided walk around the park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 8 Transfer back to Kampala, evening cultural entertainment.

Have morning breakfast and start your journey to Kampala, enroute stop Over at Uganda Safaris equator where northern hemisphere meets southern Hemisphere, take photography and proceed to Kampala, dinner and overnight at

Day 9. White water rafting.

Have morning breakfast and transfer to Jinja for white water rafting, This will be done from morning to lunch time, it will be half day Activity, you will later visit source of river Nile and transfer back to your hotel in Kampala. Dinner and overnight.

Day 10 Departure.

On this day, you will have your breakfast and go for short city tour as you transfer to the airport for your flights back home. This will mark the end of your 10 Days Gorilla Trekking Safari.
