2 Days Mount Bisoke Hike : You will have the opportunity to explore one of the most rewarding Virunga Mountains which is home to half of the endangered mountain gorillas in the world, on a 2-day hike up Mount Bisoke. You’ll have the opportunity to see a number of worthwhile sights during the hike, including Dian Fossey’s grave at the Karisoke Research Center, as well as bird species like the blue turaco, Ross’s turaco, coqui Francolin, long-tailed cisticola, bubbling cisticola, Miombo wren warbler, and Chubb’s cisticola. Among the many enjoyable experiences you can have while hiking are seeing golden monkeys, dents monkeys, and other primates like the archers ground robin, red-faced woodland warblers that are exclusive to the Albertine rift, animal species, butterfly species, and many primate species. Also, you can participate in the Kigali city tour, which will give you the chance to learn about Rwandan culture by visiting important locations like the Kimironko market and the Kigali genocide memorial museum.

Day One: Arrival And Kigali City Tour.

Your safari guide will pick you up from a place of your choosing in Kigali city or Kigali international airport on day one of your two-day Mount Bisoke trek and accompany you as you go through the briefing of your entire safari. You will be briefed on the rules and regulations to follow during your activities and as you participate in your Uganda Safari and Rwanda safari for an amazing safari while you visit Rwanda and Uganda during the briefing session where your guide for the safari will give you an insight into the activities you will participate in during your safari like gorilla trekking, chimpanzee trekking, among other activities.

After the briefing, you’ll start your safari by participating in a city tour of Kigali, where you’ll see sights like the Kigali Genocide Memorial Museum, where you can learn about the circumstances that led to the genocide in Rwanda. You’ll also get to visit the Kimironko Market, Rwanda’s largest market, where you can buy souvenirs, organic fruits, traditional clothing, and other goods. The highlight of your Kigali city tour will be a visit to one of the city’s restaurants, where you may savor delectable Rwandan cuisine. After the satisfying experience, you will travel to the national park for volcanoes. After you get to the park, check into your hotel, where you’ll enjoy a leisurely meal and spend the night.

Day two: Mount Bisoke hike.

After an early breakfast at your hotel on the second day of your 2 Days Mount Bisoke Hike, you will be transported to the national park for volcanoes. You will be given a briefing on your hike, the rules and regulations, and tips to follow for a fantastic time during the safari as soon as you arrive at the park. After the Briefing, your safari will begin. Because the peak is shared by both Virunga national park in Congo and Volcanoes national park in Rwanda, it’s interesting that you can begin the trip in either country. Mountain gorillas, golden monkeys, vervet monkeys, dent’s monkeys, forest elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, and many more species are delightful sights that may be viewed while trekking Mount Bisoke. You will also have a chance to see the biggest Crater Lake in Rwanda, Bisoke which is a habitat of water birds like the African fish eagle, African grey horn bill, heron and many more the hike. You will get to see the Karisoke research center as you go up the mountain in Bisoke. You will be dropped off at a place of your choice in Kigali city or at the Kigali international airport following the wonderful experience, marking the End of 2 Days Mount Bisoke Hike
