This 3 Day Rwanda Gorilla Safari starts and ends in Kigali- Rwanda. One gorilla permit for Parc Nationale des Volcanoes is included in the cost. Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National park.
On arrival, you will be picked from airport by our company representative who will transfer you to Volcanoes national park in Musanze, a home to 360 Mountain Gorillas. Dinner and overnight at Gorillas view Hotel (Luxury)/La Palme Hotel (Deluxe)/Muhabura Hotel (Budget)
Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Tracking.
In the morning after breakfast, transfer to park headquarters for a briefing by the park wardens. In the same briefing you will be allocated a specific gorilla groups for tracking in respect to your physical abilities. At 8:00 am local time all tourists will transfer to various starting points for gorilla trekking. Normally it takes 2 to 8 hours to encounter the mountain gorillas as they keep moving from one point to another.
Upon spotting them, you are free to stay in their presence taking photographs. Then return to the point where your vehicle is stationed so as to transfer you to back to your hotels. In the evening you may go for cultural entertainment at Ib’iwachu Cultural Village. Dinner and overnight Gorillas view Hotel (Luxury)/La Palme Hotel (Deluxe)/Muhabura Hotel (Budget)
Day 3: Transfer to Kigali for city tour & Departure
After breakfast transfer back to Kigali. Your tour guide may take you around the city and visit genocide memorial site of mirambi, visit some craft shops and transfer to airport for your flights back home.
